MOCC Awards System


At the end of each year there are awards given for a variety of services provided to the club thought the year.  Examples are awards to the  most active new member and to the most active member. For the most active awards there are points given for a variety of events that are conducted by the club. In addition earn 10 to 25 points and get a $5 discount, 26 or more points and get a $10 discount on next years MOCC membership.  To get your discount contact the Membership Chair directly.

Most Active Award Points and Credit Points:  For the annual Most Active Award to a member and for credit to annual dues, points as listed below are given for a variety of events that are conducted by the Club.



Event Chairperson:
It shall be the responsibility of each Chairperson of each event to provide and maintain a Club Member roster at the event. Club Members who wish to be accredited points will do so by writing their names on the roster. It shall be the responsibility of the Chairperson to provide the completed roster to the Membership Chairperson. Rosters shall be provided at the following Events Poker Run, Weekend Cruise Parade, Car Show (specific tasks) Car Clinic, and Committee Meetings.

Extraordinary Events: For events that do not have a Chairperson, the Club President shall appoint a Member to fulfill the point award collection duties of a Chairperson.  The event Chairperson shall also be responsible to notify the Membership Chairperson of a MOCC Member who performs the photography duties of the Club event.



The Running Horse Editor:
It shall be the responsibility of TRH Editor to notifythe Membership Chairperson in writing when an article has been published in TRH. Notification will include the name of the Club Member and the date of publication.



Membership Chairperson:  It shall be the responsibility of the Membership Chairperson to circulate a roster at both General and Special Club Meetings and Officer Meetings. Club Members who wish to be accredited points will so note by writing their names on the roster.  It shall be the responsibility of the Membership Chairperson to tabulate all the rosters' points awarded to Members into one file. All entries will record date of event, type of event, and Member's name. A running summary of total points for all point participants shall be maintained and shall be available at each General Meeting of the Club.
